Daily Style: Romwe Dress

Making some homemade pizza today and going out for a bike ride later in the really hot weather. A bit too hot for me really... But anyway, I wanted to review my new purchase from Romwe!

Outfit:

Dress
: I picked this up when I saw it reduced on Romwe, it was only £4.90 because I also had a discount code to use, and free postage. Right now it is £15.37 to buy from here
I am looking for some nice items to take on my holiday next week and this would be perfect for the evenings on the cruise ship.
This was my first purchase from Romwe so I didn't know what to expect. It took about 4 weeks to arrive, but they provide you with online tracking which I did check a lot. My packet was stopped and opened for inspection which i think slowed it down, but luckily i didn't get any extra custom charges.
Considering it was opened and checked, it arrived well packed and done up and also inside its own Romwe plastic bag.

Here are my photos:

The dress has a black thin layer underneath as well as a net layer.

The black modesty layer underneath is very short though, it hardly hides my bum >.< I think I will wear some shorts underneath when I plan to wear it.

The elastic waist is pretty tough to stretch, maybe it will loosen up with wear. But also one big thing I noticed is that on the inside of the elastic it is very itchy, it seems to be where the net layer is attached to the dress.

I ordered a size large and read the measurements that are on the page and it fits pretty well, but it is a little tight around the arms/shoulders as it doesn't stretch there.

The elastic waist really accentuates the dress shape, and it puffs out around the hips.

Overall, I am very pleased with this dress. The lace is really pretty, the little details of the under skirt and top make it a little more smart than just a "every day dress" I think. It would be suited for a party or even a posh restaurant.

Necklace: This choker I picked up on eBay for a few pounds.

Headband: My black elastic spiked headband I got on eBay.

Shoes: My beloved rhinestone encrusted pair of Bordello shoes. I absolutely love Bordello shoes, they look fantastic, just everything about them. The heel size, the front platform, the patterns and colours you can get. I actually own about 11 pairs of Bordello shoes but sadly a lot of them are left in the UK :(
You can get Bordello shoes on a lot of websites, but I have got mine all second hand on eBay for about half the price.

I will be taking a pair or two with me on my holiday so it was good to test what they looked like with the dress.

Here is my collection of Bordello shoes, just an example of the different styles and colours you can get.
