Daily Style: Creepy Cute

I have had this dress over 2 years or so now and I have never really worn it. It doesn't look too good with my body shape and it shows off all the lumps and bumps i don't want to draw attention to. I was going to sell it and then last week I looked at it and thought "I will wear that today!"

I remember seeing that Kreepsville 666 were promoting their new dress coming out, this "Nurse Worse" dress covered in blood spatter. I fell in love. I bought it as soon as i could for full price, over £30. I have to say i was a little disappointed with how thin the material is, and the dress is too big for me around the chest. It seems like it is made for ladies with huge a bust, so for me the shoulders keep falling down. But as I have said in an older blog post, i get this problem a lot...

Outfit:

Dress: Kreepsville 666 "Nurse Worse" dress, I picked it up on eBay new, but now you can get it for under £20 here.

Jumper: This really cute white jumper with black cat faces. From eBay there is one here, £10.99 + postage, but I am not sure it is the same seller I bought from, I feel like mine was a little cheaper.

Necklace: It was only fitting that I dug out this old pendant filled with blood. I bought this about 8 years ago! You can choose to buy an empty vial and fill your own, or you can get one filled with fake blood. I will let you guess which one I chose... :) They also come in this awesome little coffin shaped box and I got free temporary tattoos with their logo and vampire bites for the neck all for $12.99 + postage. The link is here

Tights: Good old New Look tights that are black until the thigh with a fake suspender pattern on the back of the thigh, bought for under £5, really ripped now though.

Shoes: And my knock off creepers! Bought on eBay for £9.99 + postage.

Daily Style: Kawaii Strawberry

It is even warmer today and I am looking forward to breaking out my summery clothes, to show off more skin and tats. Not that I want a tan when i show off skin though.
Today I decided on my super cute strawberry shirt! My boyfriend says this outfit is for an old lady, well, if it is, that old lady certainly would look great. (Photos of me gurning in to the sun again, sorry.)

Outfit:
Shirt: Collectif Clothing Frosty Strawberry Shirt, i picked it up at a reduced price, less than £20 i think. Although it is in the sale now for £10 but out of stock, link is here. This is a really lovely shirt, but it is too big for me on the shoulders. I find this happens a lot because a lot of tops have room for a big bust which i do not have. And since I don't want my clothes to be skin tight, i usually buy a little bigger than i might need, so they end up too big up around the shoulders. I might try and fix this with some little stitches... The buttons are cute little strawberries! Although they all fell off really fast, so I had to sew them back on.

Skirt: My trusty red velvet skirt from Marks and Spencer's but I got it on eBay for a few pounds.
Tights: Green tights that go from dark green to light green! They are lovely. They make my legs look like the stalk of a strawberry... from eBay, link it here, £2.49, they do lots of colours like this too, i have a yellow pair as well.
IMG_5907
Necklace: Super cute lady bug (lady bird) necklace that my brother and his wife bought me before. I thought it was very suitable for the top today.
IMG_5904
Shoes: Demonia Dynamite 03 Platform Mary Janes, I picked them up on eBay for less than £20. I have always wanted a pair of these, they are amazing. And so easy and comfortable to walk in. Although they are a little heavier than some platform shoes i have and i bruise easily, so I have gotten a bruise along the top of my foot from the straps haha

Daily Style: Grunge

It's the weekend and the sun is shining here in Sweden! It is still surprisingly cold when you go outside though.
I went with a friend to a "megaloppis" this morning, a big inside flea market. Sadly, it was a big disappointment. Neither of us found anything worth buying, and it cost 50SEK (about £5) to get in! Oh well, now I know not to bother with those in the future, I will just stick to the normal outside, free, flea markets (or as i call them in English "bootsales").
I was feeling summery today and wanted to wear something nice, but with enough layers to keep warm. Even though i was feeling summery i still ended up wearing all black to which my friend joked;
"Are we going to a funeral?"
C'mon, a girl can never wear enough black!
Apparently my boyfriend is incapable of taking a decent photograph... haha and I am squinting towards the sunlight.

Outfit:
Dress: it is from Primark but i bought it on eBay for around £10. It is black velvet skater style, nipped in at the waist, really stretchy and easy to wear. The skirt is really full and the detail of the lines of fabric over the chest are really cool, i love this dress. It can be worn with a wide waist belt and I have worn an under-bust corset over it before. It is really great for so many occasions. And I am addicted to velvet... i own so many velvet clothes.
Jumper: baggy over-sized knitted jumper over the dress to keep warm. From eBay, link here, from China for 11.95AUD which is £6.64! It is really lovely and worth a buy. I might get a white one next winter.
new
Tights: if i remember correct they are from New Look, they are very comfortable but the first time I put them on I got a huge ladder down the leg, and now every time I put them on i get another one. I don't mind since I like that grungy look, but I know a lot of people might throw them away after one ladder. I think they cost under £5. These are black solid until the thigh and then see through, and on the back of the thigh is a pattern in the middle of each leg, they are like those faux stocking style tights.

Necklace: eBay find, it was about £2. A cute black cat!

Shoes: Today I wore my worn out T.U.K kitty shoes because i didn't feel like wearing boots, and my Creepers are still being worn in and are not good for a long walk, which is what I did this morning. Unfortunately a lot of my shoes are still in the UK but this summer I will bring some more back.

I later went out again so I wore my cheapo Creeper knock offs! I got them on eBay for £9.99 and £5 postage to Sweden. I picked the ones with all the extra studs on! I looked at the item I bought and for some reason now the price is £50.00! Anyway, you can see the listing here but you can find them for about £10 elsewhere...

Daily Style: Thor Leggings

Being a massive Thor fan, when I saw that a shop one facebook were talking about getting in Thor: The Dark World leggings, I just had to buy them. I checked out their website and they were selling them for over £20, so I thought I would do some digging and see if I could find them cheaper...  As you might have guessed, I did.
Good old eBay has them from China for less than a tenner, link is here.
These leggings, again, fit really well because they are very stretchy. They are just beyond awesome. Now when I wear them I have Thor and Loki all over my thighs...

Outfit
Dress: from House of Denim, not sure where that is, maybe Next or New Look? I got it on eBay for under a tenner. It is really cute with little frills and a tucked in waist.
Image
Leggings: Thor leggings, link.
Necklace: another eBay find, although I can't seem to find it on there anymore. It seems it is unavailable now. It cost me just over £2. If you click here on my search, you can find so many lovely chokers for less than £3! Mine has grey flowers with the white opal like stone in the middle.

Shoes: again, T.U.K kitty booties... I usually pair these with leggings because the leggings end at the ankle, and i dislike wearing shoes with that gap there, I don't like not wearing socks in shoes but i don't want the socks to show...so, ankle boots it is.

Daily Style: Gothic

*this is a repost from my blog at www.mrsw0nka.wordpress.com, i am changing it over to blogger*
Last week I was meeting some people at a restaurant for lunch so i wanted to look a little more posh than usual. I wanted something that was also warm enough to wear as it was very windy and cold still, even though the first day of spring has been and gone. I also had to cycle to the restaurant, so i needed something comfortable enough to wear for that. As you can see I actually put on some eyeliner and black eye shadow for this.

Outfit:
Top: Here I was wearing a classic gothic style top from Dark Star, you can get a lot of their clothes and accessories from The Gothic Shop as Dark Star don't seem to have a website themselves.
I got mine from a charity shop, i know what a lucky find! It was under ten pounds too.
IMG_5802
This top is beautiful, classic V shape bottom and lace sleeves, black velvet sides and front panel of purple and black spiderwebs. It comes up short, like a lot of these types of tops do for some reason, and i was not about to have my middle out, which is why i paired it with the long pencil skirt so i could wear that high up on my waist to meet this top.
Skirt: from Atmosphere, Primark. My lovely mum bought me it for my birthday last year. It is dark grey with black flock velvet feel pattern, she knows exactly how to pick gorgeous things for me. So this didn't cost me anything.
IMG_5801
Socks: I wore some long thick grey socks as well, since my legs needed something. I got these on eBay £5.98 link here, they are more than i would usually pay for socks but I really wanted a pair of those really comfortable baggy, thick socks, that actually reach my thigh. And these really do the job. They are well worth the money. When I can,  want to order them in all the other colours.
IMG_5804
Necklace; this necklace is really old from Claire's Accessories. But what can I say, it hasn't broken and I still wear it! It was probably around £5.
IMG_5784
Earrings: I have both my lobes stretched to a 10mm, i also have two more piercings in the lobes and then i have one on each ear higher up but I never wear anything in it because I find it very annoying.
These plugs are one of my favourite pairs from Sick Plugs. These are the purple snowglobes, I also have the mother of pearl snowglobes, and I intend to buy the blue ones next. These plugs are awesome, they are literally mini snowglobes in your ear! They have glitter in liquid that moves around, it's amazing. These plugs at this size do cost £8 each but Sick Plugs are always doing voucher codes, so I buy them when I see a code. It is worth watching them on facebook etc. to see when they do these deals.

Here is a photo from their website to show off how good they actually look.

Shoes: again I wore my T.U.K kitty booties, they are so comfortable I wear them most of the time. I have a pair of kitty flats but they have been worn to death and have holes in the bottom, they are my 3rd pair i have worn out. My boots have My Little Pony laces I bought from eBay so many years ago.

Daily Style: Supernatural Shirts

*this is a repost from my blog at www.mrsw0nka.wordpress.com, i am changing it over to blogger*
Being a massive fan of the tv show Supernatural, I am always keeping an eye out on websites like Qwertee and also Ript Apparel. There are other t shirt printing places that print people's own designs, but these are the main two i keep an eye on. It is worth watching both on facebook and whatever other platforms you have as they each have giveaways daily!
When I saw Qwertee were printing Supernatural shirts I jumped at the chance to buy one. And also when I knew it was going to be a Sam themed one...even better. I am a Sammy girl after all. Sorry, Dean, you are lovely too.
The shirt itself feels really lovely to wear, it's light but not too thin and the logo isn't hard to touch. I bought a woman's XXL here which is still pretty small to be honest. I am not usually an XXL or even an XL but I checked the measurements on Qwertee's size chart and I did pick a good size for me. Obviously ladies shirts are more fitted, but i didn't want it skin tight so I bought a bigger size.
Total cost for shirt and postage 13 Euros about 10.85 pounds - i think i pay slightly more postage since i moved to Sweden

A close up of the design:

Here i took a little photo of me and my Supernatural swag... Although my dvd boxsets are not here :( But also check out my anti demon possession tattoo that I have on my foot, the same one that the boys get in the show! It also says "Don't you cry no more..." Around it which is from yes, you guessed it, Kansas - Carry on my wayward son. Any Supernatural fan will know those lyrics...
Image
When I saw this awesome design was coming up for sale i couldn't resist... They even had a Dean one available at the same time, but obviously I picked the Sam one... This is also an XXL and it comes all the way from the US. The t shirt feels thinner than the Qwertee one but it fits nicely, and thinner can be good in hot weather. It is a little tighter than the Qwertee one too. I will note that Ript Apparel also do more choice on their daily designs, you can get hoodies and even headphones and posters.
Total cost with postage to Sweden 13.98USD which is about 8.46GBP - so Ript are actually cheaper than Qwertee here!

The trousers I am wearing with both these Supernatural tees are from Jist on Attitude Clothing, link here.
They are very comfy, i end up wearing them nearly every day when I am just at home... Or when you get home and want to change to something comfortable! I bought this at full price on the website, so around £30 with postage, but it was when i was moving from the uk and I needed some trousers that fit me so I treated myself to these.

Winchester Bros shirt
I picked this shirt up on eBay for a couple of quid, it was a massive man's size so i cut it about a bit. I made it off the shoulder and cut down each side and tied them together again. I think i watched a tutorial on youtube for this design but i cannot remember which one, there are so many available to watch now. Excuse the really bad old photos but i don't have this shirt here with me in Sweden to take a new picture :( i will pick it up next time i go back to the UK.
The shirt says Winchester Bros Hunting since 1867 (or some similar date)
